FAQ
What is eSIM?
eSIM is a digital SIM embedded in your device that works like a physical SIM card. Instead of inserting a physical card, you download a carrier’s eSIM profile to activate mobile services.
Is my phone eSIM capable?
To determine if your phone supports eSIM using the *#06#
method, look for an EID (Embedded Identity Document) number alongside
the IMEI. If an EID is displayed, your phone is eSIM-capable. If not, your
device likely doesn't support eSIM.
What is the eSIM QR Code?
An eSIM QR code is a unique code provided by your mobile
carrier to activate an eSIM on your device. It contains all the necessary
information, such as the SM-DP+ address (Subscription Manager Data Preparation)
and activation code, to set up your eSIM profile.
To use it, you typically go to your phone's settings, select
the option to add a cellular plan, and then scan the QR code using your phone's
camera. This process downloads the eSIM profile and connects your device to the
carrier's network.
Can I add multiple eSIMs to my phone?
Yes, you can store multiple eSIM profiles on your device,
but only one can be active at a time. Some newer iPhones (like iPhone 13 and
later) support dual active eSIMs.
Can my eSIM work in multiple countries?
If your eSIM package supports multiple countries, you can
switch between them, and the eSIM will remain active. Check the product
description before purchasing to confirm supported countries.
When does the eSIM package validity start?
Typically, the package validity starts when you scan the QR
code and download the eSIM profile. However, there are exceptions, so please
read the product description carefully before purchasing.
Does the eSIM include a phone number and call/SMS services?
Yes, many eSIM plans include a phone number and support call
and SMS services, just like traditional SIM cards. However, some eSIMs are data-only,
meaning they don't provide voice or SMS capabilities. It's important to check
the details of your eSIM plan with your carrier or provider to confirm whether
it includes these features.
Can I share my hotspot using an eSIM?
Yes, eSIMs generally support hotspot functionality, allowing
you to share your device's cellular data connection with other devices, like
laptops or tablets.
Can I transfer the eSIM to another device?
You will need a new QR code to transfer the eSIM to another
phone and continue to use it. Not all operators support this.
Can I delete and rescan the eSIM QR code again?
No. Only delete the eSIM from your phone if you are
done using it and do not intend to use it anymore. If you have
accidentally deleted your eSIM, please contact our support team, and we'll do
our best to assist you.
